Hyderabad (Sindh) [Pakistan], A tragic incident came to light in Hyderabad where a woman and her teenage daughter were allegedly bricked into a wall by their relatives following a property dispute, according to a report by ARY News.

The incident occurred in Latifabad No. 5 area, following which police and concerned neighbors took prompt action and broke the wall to rescue the trapped victims. The woman bravely revealed that her brother-in-law, identified as Suhail, along with his sons, had confined them inside a room and then built a wall outside and locked them inside.

As per ARY News report, the victim accused Suhail of continuous harassment and claimed that he also had important documents related to their house.

Law enforcement responded immediately by registering a case against the accused, and assured the public of their commitment to holding those responsible. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Farooq Linjar assured the public that legal proceedings are underway to hold accountable those who committed such heinous acts of imprisonment.

According to police sources, at least five people died due to a property dispute in a tragic incident in Chamkani area of ​​Peshawar on May 24.

Officials said the violence erupted when two groups exchanged gunfire, resulting in deaths. Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR), stating that there was a long-running conflict between the groups.

According to ARY News report, it is noteworthy that similar incidents of violence arising out of personal enmity or land disputes have happened in the past also.
