ISLAMABAD [Pakistan], Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent leader of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the party's intention to stage a sit-in demanding the release of its founder from jail, ARY News reported. Regarding party dynamics, Marwat mentioned the possibility of reinstating some leaders who had resigned after the May 9 riots. Citing Khan's indication that two to three individuals could be re-inducted, he however stressed that those who had been publicly criticized should not be re-inducted.Marwat also mentioned Usman Dar among the names considered for reinstatement due to his family's difficulties. Additionally, Malika Bukhari, Ali Nawa Awan and Aoun Abbas were also being considered for possible reinstatement. Addressing questions about Fawad Chaudhry, Marwat said that although Chaudhry had expressed interest in re-joining, there was opposition from partisan workers, with Marwat making allegations against former finance minister Asad. Omar claimed that he resigned after being assured of his release from the legal case. Despite Marwat's efforts to advocate for Omar's reinstatement, Imran Khan chose it again, ARY News reported.
