According to the official statement of CDA, large scale encroachment has been done by occupying the land near the Central Secretariat plot in Sector G8/4 of Islamabad. In a statement, the CDA said its anti-encroachment team conducted a drive on Thursday to remove illegal constructions and encroachments. The operation began at around 11.30 pm (local time) and ended in an hour. The CDA said that the encroachment by a 'political party' was being removed, adding that the plot was allotted in the name of a person named Sartaj Ali, reports Geo New. The CDA said an additional floor was constructed on the plot in violation of building rules, Geo News reported. The government body said it had issued a notice
