Balochistan [Pakistan]: People took out a rally on Saturday against the forced disappearance of Hafiz Tayyab and several other missing people in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, Pakistan, The Balochistan Post reported. During the rally, the protesters demanded action against and safe recovery of all the missing people from Balochistan.
Baloch Yakjehati Committee (BYC), and relatives of other missing persons joined the protest called by the family of Hafiz Tayyab. Protesters marched through the city's main thoroughfares to express their opposition to enforced disappearances and demand the safe return of their loved ones.
Hafiz Tayyab was reportedly taken from Jhalawar Hospital Khuzdar by Pakistani security forces on 4 May 2013, The Balochistan Post reported. Hai's family said that if there is any credible evidence against Hafiz Tayyab then due process should be followed and presented before the court.In a post on Twitter, Baloch Yaqzehti Committee had said, "Today marks one decade of Tayyab's illegal abduction, a protest rally was organized in Khuzdar along with the family of missing Tayyab against his enforced disappearance by Khuzdar " A large number of people participated in this and registered their protest. During the protests, people highlighted the plight of many others in Khuzdar and shared grievances with their loved ones about the disappearance of their relatives. During the protests, BYC leaders said that their demands for the safe return of the missing were not met. This was heard in previous protests and appeals to authorities in Islamabad as protesters demanded the safe return of missing persons and the death of Hafiz Tayyeb.
