New York: Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl in the T20 World Cup Group A match against Canada here on Tuesday.

Pakistan is fourth in the Group A points table and has so far lost both its matches against America and India.

Third-placed Canada after one win and one loss will also be under pressure as an NRR of -0.274 could affect their chances of qualifying for the Super Eights stage, even though they have two points after the win over Ireland.

The pitches at the venue continue to produce low-scoring thrillers and batsmen from both camps are likely to be tested again.

Teams:

Pakistan: Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), Saim Ayub, Babar Azam (captain), Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir.

Canada: Aaron Johnson, Navneet Dhaliwal, Pargat Singh, Nicholas Kirton, Shreyas Movva (wk), Ravinderpal Singh, Saad Bin Zafar (c), Dillon Heiliger, Kaleem Sana, Junaid Siddiqui, Jeremy Gordon.
