Balochistan [Pakistan], Residents of Pasni town in Balochistan province staged a massive protest on the Makran Coastal Highway against heavy power cuts and discrepancies in the billing system, Balochistan Post reports.

The blockade on the Makran coastal highway at zero point on Thursday caused problems for commuters between Karachi and several other towns in the Makran region, including Pasni, Gwadar, Jiwani and Turbat.

The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction over "uneven electricity billing methods" and regular power cuts without warning. He stressed that many residents are facing financial stress due to extremely high bills.
