Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde on Saturday said the country will witness a historic moment tomorrow when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath for a rare third time.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by securing 293 seats. BJP won 240 seats. Nitish Kumar's JDU and Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, which won 16 and 12 seats respectively, have extended support to the NDA.

“The National Democratic Alliance is going to be formed for the third time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to create history once again.People have elected NDA on the basis of the work done by the BJP government in the last ten years. The country will witness a historic moment tomorrow,” Shinde told ANI here.

Shrikant Shinde, who won from Kalyan Lok Sabha seat, is the son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Shinde said, “A flood leader has a responsibility. We will work with that responsibility by taking all the members of Parliament along.,

Meanwhile, Delhi Police has taken strict measures to ensure security of the swearing-in ceremony.

According to Delhi Police officials, multi-layered security arrangements have been made for the program. Five companies of paramilitary forces will be deployed for the security of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Apart from this, NSG commandos, drones and snipers will also protect Rashtrapati Bhavan for the mega event.

According to the police, the area around Rashtrapati Bhavan has been made a 'controlled' area.

In areas including Sansad Marg, Rafi Marg, Raisina Road, Rajendra Prasad Road, Mother Teresa Crescent and Sardar Patel Marg, movement of vehicles will be allowed near the event.

According to the police, this program will be monitored through more than 500 CCTV cameras. Section 144 has also been imposed in entire New Delhi. In view of the swearing-in ceremony, many restrictions have been imposed by Delhi Police for June 9 and 10.

Delhi has been declared a "no-flying" zone.During this period, flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like paragliders, paramotors, hang gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft and remote-controlled aircraft has been banned in the national capital.

The security measures follow the formal appointment of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister by the President of India on Friday.

A letter of support was also given to the President on behalf of the constituent parties of NDA.

According to the Election Commission of India, the BJP won 240 seats, much less than 303 in 2019.

On the other hand, Congress registered a strong improvement by winning 99 seats. While the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 292 seats, the India Bloc crossed the 230 mark, putting up a tough contest and defying all predictions.
