As per the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) trading holiday calendar, all segments of the market including SLBs and derivatives will remain closed.

Mumbai, one of the regions taking part in the fifth phase on Monday, has earmarked a public holiday for the purpose. Business will resume on Tuesday.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain closed in the morning session but will reopen in the evening session.

The next day's trading in the stock market will be on Tuesday from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

The next trading holiday in the stock market is on June 17 on the occasion of Bakrid. After this, the markets will remain closed due to Muharram on 17th July, 2nd October on 15th August, Guru Nanak Jayanti on 15th November and Christmas on 25th December.

The stock market was open on Saturday due to special trading session.

Sensex was up 88 points or 0.12 per cent at 74,005 and Nifty was up 3 points or 0.16 per cent at 22,502.
