Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], M Olmos A., a Mexico Police officer who underwent training at the Mexico Police Training Program at the National Defense University in Gandhinagar, on Friday said she now knows better practices for policing.
"For the last 15 days, we participated in a special training here in India. Now, we know better practices for policing in our country," Olmos told ANI.
Major General Deepak Mehra, director of the School of Internal Security and Smart Policing, said that statues of eminent personalities like Mahatma Gandhi find a place of honor in many major places and cities of Mexico. This shows that Mexico and India have shared values of peace and non-violence.
