In a post on Twitter, the Kerala Governor said, "Ambassador of Norway Mrs. May-Elin Steiner calls on Hon'ble Governor Shri Arif Mohammed Khan at Kerala Raj Bhavan on 20 May 2024: PRO KeralaRajBhavan." On May 14, India and Norway held Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) to discuss ways to expand and diversify bilateral cooperation in a number of areas, including blue economy, renewable energy, climate and environment and green hydrogen. Both countries also appreciated India's signature. -EFTA TEPA hopes to accelerate the implementation of the agreement in the mark this year and as soon as possible, which will further increase bilateral trade and investment. The India-European Free Trade Association (EFTA) signed the Trade and Economy Partnership Agreement (TEPA) on March 10. India is working on a trade economic partnership agreement (TEPA) with EFTA countries including Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. The Union Cabinet has approved the signing of TEPA with the EFTA states. EFTA is an intergovernmental organization established in 1960. Pawan Kapoor, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, led the Indian delegation to the 11th India-Norway Foreign Office Consultations on promoting free trade and economic integration for the benefit of its four member countries. The Norwegian delegation was led by Torgeir Larsen, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
