Srinagar: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar on Saturday reviewed the security situation and anti-terrorism grid in South Kashmir.
"Visited Victor Force to review the prevailing security situation with #LtGenVSuchindraKumar, #ArmyCDRNC #ChinarCorps Commander," the Army's Northern Command said in a post on Twitter.
Victor Force is an anti-terrorist force of the army based in South Kashmir.
The Army said the Northern Commander was briefed about the counter-terrorism operation and operational preparedness of the force.
The Army said the Army Commander inspired the troops to remain in a state of readiness to meet all upcoming challenges and appreciated them for their high morale and alertness.
