Noida: In view of the prevailing heatwave and its associated fire accidents, the Gautam Buddh Nagar district police on Saturday issued necessary guidelines to officials, emphasizing on operational equipment management in critical facilities.
The advisory comes in compliance with the instructions of Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Director General of Police (UP) and Director General of Fire Services and Emergency Services (UP) during a video conference held on Friday.
As per the police advisory, schools, colleges, hospitals, ICUs and other critical establishments should have standby equipment in operational mode and used alternatively to prevent overheating and possible fire hazards.

It said, “Society and establishments should exercise caution and avoid burning waste, as it can lead to large-scale fires, significantly increasing the risk of injury and property damage.,
