Noida: Police said that the body of a person was found near a drain in Noida on Tuesday.
He said that the body was found in Sector 136, which has not been identified yet.
"Due to the depth of the drain, a hydra crane was called in to retrieve the body, which appeared to be 2-3 days old," a police spokesperson said.
"Forensic units conducted an investigation on the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem," the officer said.
He said that efforts are on to identify the deceased and further investigation is underway.
