Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is all set to host the third season of 'Bigg Boss OTT'.
On Tuesday, Anil Kapoor was officially introduced to the media as the host of the show.
While speaking with 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui on stage, Anil Kapoor revealed that superstar Salman Khan is extremely excited to have the former as the new host of the show.
"No one can replace Salman and no one can replace Anil Kapoor too...Brother (Salman Khan) is very happy...I have also spoken to him...He is very excited and happy to know that I am doing non-fiction films,” said Anil Kapoor.
'Bigg Boss OTT 3' will be on JioCinema from June 21.
Bigg Boss OTT, the spin-off of the hugely popular Bigg Boss franchise, debuted on Voot, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. However, the reins were later handed over to Bollywood megastar Salman Khan for the second season.
Excited to host the third season of 'Bigg Boss OTT', Anil Kapoor said in a statement, "Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We are both young at heart; people often say – jokingly – that I'm trying to reverse ageing, but Bigg Boss is truly timeless, it feels like I'm going back to school, doing something new and exciting."
He further added, “Having said that, I have always approached all my projects with honesty and commitment to hard work and I am going to bring the same energy (10x!) to Bigg Boss! There's something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can't wait to bring my own flavor to it."
