Agartala (Tripura) [India], Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that no other leader organizes programs like 'Mann ki Baat'.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann ki Baat is an important debate. No other leader holds or organizes such kind of Mann ki Baat programme," Saha said.

He also praised the radio program for its unique approach to sharing information and inspiring citizens.

"We cannot be aware of the entire India, but Prime Minister Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat, always highlights unique things that we are not aware of and from there we gain a lot of knowledge," he added.

Saha spoke after watching Prime Minister Modi's Mann Ki Baat at 14 Badharghat Mandal.

BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya and MLA Mina Rani Sarkar were present during the programme.

He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his sincere gratitude to the people of Tripura for their support in the recent Lok Sabha elections, where the BJP won both seats.

Saha shared that he had recently met the Prime Minister and congratulated him on behalf of the people of Tripura. Modi, in return, thanked Saha for the state's significant electoral success and praised the efforts that led to the BJP's victory in both the Lok Sabha seats and the by-elections.

"We were waiting for the results, and what happened? Prime Minister Modi came back. A few days ago I met him and congratulated him on behalf of the people of Tripura. He, in turn, thanked me and said, 'You did well.' Tripura, the BJP won both seats with a massive vote and also in the by-elections.' Prime Minister Modi has congratulated all the people of Tripura,” the Chief Minister said.

Earlier in the day, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha along with the local community listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 111th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', the show known for its reach and connect with the people of the India.

In an inspiring gathering, residents of Badharghat Legislative Assembly booth number 33 gathered to listen to 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast on Sunday.

This episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' highlighted several initiatives and success stories that resonated deeply with the listeners.

From the lush coffee plantations of Araku in Andhra Pradesh to the exquisite Karthumbi Chhata of Kerala and the pristine peas of Kashmir, the Prime Minister's words celebrated the journey of these local products as they gained international recognition.

In his 111th episode of the show 'Mann Ki Baat', Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the global presence of local Indian products and mentioned Araku coffee produced in Andhra Pradesh. "There are so many Indian products that are in high demand around the world and when we see a local Indian product going global, it is natural to feel proud. One such product is Araku coffee, which is grown in large quantities in the Alluri Sita Rama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh.

Additionally, the program paid tribute to the Santal hero Sindhu-Kanu, a significant figure in Indian history, and emphasized the importance of the revival of the Sanskrit language.

The 'One Tree, Ma' Ke Naam' campaign, a tribute to mothers and the environment, was also a focal point, encouraging people to plant trees in honor of their mothers.

The local event at booth #33 was organized to foster community spirit and collective listening, further enhancing the impact of the Prime Minister's message.
