Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Police on Wednesday arrested nine people in connection with the vandalism, stone pelting and attack on the house and office of a Congress leader in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. An officer gave this information.

After a dispute with Block Congress President Vinod Yadav alias Babbu during voting on May 13 on Indore Lok Sabha seat, about 15 people targeted his house, office and some vehicles.

A minor girl and another person were injured in the incident, which was captured on CCTV camera, the officer said.

Pardeshipura police station in-charge Pankaj Dwivedi said that nine people have been arrested in the case of vandalism and stone pelting at Yadav's house and the adjacent office.

He said the accused beat up a minor girl and another person, leaving them injured.

The police officer said the accused entered Yadav's office armed with knives and broke doors, windows and glass of vehicles parked in the premises.

Dwivedi said that during the Lok Sabha elections in Indore on May 13, there was a dispute between Yadav and some accused at a polling booth in Nand Nagar. He said that other accused are being identified through CCTV footage of the incident.
