The actress had acted in Kumar Sanu's song 'Tera Mera Pyaar' before working in a few commercials for television.

In 2012, she made her film debut with a small role in the English film 'One Night with the King', before starring in the crime thriller 'Peddlers' directed by Vasan Bala.

Speaking to IANS about her journey, Nimrat said, "A lot has happened. I have learned a lot. And I have enjoyed every part of it. 'Tera Mera Pyaar' was my first work on camera. Nimrat, who last acted in the film 'Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video', said that she enjoys the reality of life, adding that everything comes with its own problems and excitement.
