Borno [Nigeria] At least 18 people have been killed and 48 others injured in bomb blasts in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state, CNN reported, citing state emergency services.

The first blast took place at a wedding ceremony at around 3 pm (local time) on Saturday afternoon. Then, a second blast occurred at the General Hospital Gwoza and a third blast occurred at a funeral.

The Director General of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Barkindo Muhammad Saidu, visited the site of the incident in Gwoza Town, CNN reports.

According to the Borno State Emergency Management Agency-SEMA, the dead included men, women and children, the report said. No further details were given regarding the incident.
