New Delhi, The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences on Friday announced that the NEET-PG 2024 entrance exam will be conducted in two shifts on August 11.

This examination was earlier scheduled to be held on June 23.

"In continuation of the NBEMS notice dated 22.06.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination has been rescheduled. It will now be conducted in two shifts on 11th August. The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in NEET-PG 2024 will continue till August 15, 2024,” the board said.

The Union Health Ministry on June 22 postponed the NEET-PG entrance exam scheduled for June 23 as a "precautionary measure" in the wake of allegations over the sanctity of some competitive exams.

Since then several meetings have been held with officials of the Union Health Ministry, National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) as well as its technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), National Medical Commission (NMC) and Cyber ​​Cell for assessment are done. Sources said the "robustness" of the system for conducting the examination.

The Health Ministry had decided to thoroughly evaluate the robustness of the procedures for the NEET-PG entrance examination.

National Eligibility Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET-PG) entrance examination is conducted by NBEMS along with its technical partner TCS for medical students.
