Pokhara [Nepal], Hundreds of yoga lovers and followers gathered to perform yoga at the Pokhara city regional stadium in Kaski, Nepal on Friday, on the occasion of 10th International Yoga Day.

Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava participated in the event and performed yoga asanas, while the grounds of the Pokhara Rangshala were filled with participants.

The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu had organized the event in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) which lasted for about two hours.

Addressing the event, Pandey said that Yoga is an art of maintaining physical fitness, mental and spiritual well-being which will help in the course of life. "Yoga has the ability to give people spirituality as well as morality and to maintain discipline in life."
