In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA won 64 seats, 62 went to the BJP and two to its ally Apna Dal. In 2014, NDA got 73 seats, BJP 71 and Apna Dal two seats.

Voting took place in all seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, which began on April 19 and will end on Saturday.Counting of votes is to take place on June 4.
