Party general secretary and chief national spokesperson Brijmohan Srivastava will soon visit Jammu and Kashmir and discuss the party's election strategy.

Jammu and Kashmir NCP state president Tariq Rasool said that the party proposes to empower the grassroots level workers.

“During his visit, Srivastava will personally meet and discuss with district officials, workers and especially booth in-charges. These meetings will strengthen our organizational structure before the assembly elections.”

He said the party general secretary will visit Jammu and Kashmir from July 12 to July 19 to cover eight districts and about 37 constituencies.

Srivastava said his visit is to speed up election preparations and involve party workers in implementing the party's election strategy.

The move by NCP assumes significance as the party has seven MLAs in Nagaland and it won three seats in the recently held assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh.
