Will serve as a road-map for Ashish Fotedar said on Wednesday.

He was referring to the initiative taken by NCCD, which comes under the administrative control of the Agriculture Ministry.

Apart from the guidelines, NCCD is developing a mobile application to digitize data related to cold chain components. This is expected to increase capacity utilization, reduce fuel costs and reduce carbon footprint. The application will also collect relevant logistics data for policy making and analysis, Fotedar said at the FICCI conference.

We hope that happens." This would be a form of increased private investment in infrastructure development, purchase and adoption of efficient equipment or transportation vehicles for the cold chain sector,'' he said.Furthermore, he also mentioned the National Logistics Policy launched in 2022, which comprehensively addresses various aspects of the logistics sector, including cold chain.
