New Delhi [India], The NEET-PG 2024 exam scheduled to be held on June 23 has been postponed after receiving inputs from the government.

Speaking exclusively to ANI, NBEMS Director Dr Abhijat Sheth said that before postponing the exams a meeting was held between the officials of the Union Health Ministry and the National Board of Examinations to assess the entire situation and the inputs received by the government. Went.

"This was mainly related to the review of the procedures of computer based examination and a lot of inputs have been received by the government and a number of instructions have been given by the government to the examination body and TCS," he said.

In technical support, more than 40 IT professionals were present to closely monitor and resolve any IT related issues on the spot. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (Post Graduate) examination is conducted by the National Board of Medical Sciences Examination with its technical partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

“We definitely work together to ensure that even if there are minor deficiencies, we will ensure that they are taken care of,” Dr Sheth said.

He also ensured the students and their families that NBEMS takes assistance from all security agencies including CBI to conduct the examination.

“We must ensure the student community and the families of the students that the process of conducting the examination in all the centers is particularly sensitive at every stage of this examination. We will ensure the safety of the students, including the security agencies, state security agencies, central security agencies like CBI and Crime Branch. And ensure that adequate securities are in place to ensure the examination process,” said the NBEMS Director.
