Srinagar: The National Conference (NC) on Friday demanded an impartial judicial inquiry into the death of a youth in police custody in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district earlier this week.

"The details emerging from this case are extremely disturbing. JKNC demands an impartial judicial inquiry into this incident to ensure that the culprits are brought to justice and brought to justice," the party said on Twitter. Have to face the full force."

A magisterial inquiry was already ordered on Tuesday under Section 176 of the CrPC into the death of Imtiaz Ahmed Pala in police custody on Monday night.

Although the police have not commented on the circumstances of Pala's death, the deceased's family alleged that he died due to custodial torture.

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has also demanded an impartial investigation into the custodial death.
