New Delhi: Muffin Green on Saturday said it plans to raise up to Rs 24.84 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures.

The company said in a statement that a proposal in this regard has been approved by the board in a meeting on Friday.

The Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has approved raising funds by issuing Indian Rupee denominated, unlisted, secured, senior, redeemable, taxable transferable, non-convertible debentures on private placement basis for an amount up to Rs 24 . ₹84,00,000".

Muffin Green said the proposal is subject to approval by applicable regulatory authorities.

According to the company, the proceeds will be used for working capital and expansion in the portfolio.

Kolkata-based Muffin Green Finance is a non-banking finance company (NBFC) focused on financing clean energy and related projects.
