Mysore (Karnataka) [India], Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, HD Kumaraswamy, on Friday made an indirect attack on Deputy CM DK Shivakumar and said that the MUDA (Mysore Urban Development Authority) scam has been exposed by those who have set their sights on On the Chief Minister's chair.
Speaking to the media after having darshan of Maa Chamundeshwari in Mysore, Kumaraswamy said, "Why and how did the scam, which was not revealed for so long, come to light now?" Behind this is the role of the person who has his eyes on the CM's chair. The CD factory was closed."
Kumaraswamy said, "BJP's friends are fighting about this. But it is the Congressmen who are supporting and supporting it from within to overcome this scam. I am aware of this."
"The CM is saying that the government should give a compensation of Rs 62 crore. Does Siddaramaiah, who says this, not know the plight of the people? Don't you understand the pain of the poor in the state? They acquire land overnight." They stop them on the road. Not just compensation, you are asking for huge compensation."
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday rejected allegations of any scam in MUDA (Mysore Urban Development Authority) site allotment and said no scam has taken place during the Congress tenure in the state.
Speaking to the media after the 'Sarkar Aapke Dwar' program in the taluk, he said, "All the scams in the state happened during the tenure of the BJP. We will respond to all the allegations during the session."
Asked whether Kumaraswamy's 'Jan Sampark' programs in Mandya were a copy of his 'Garkar Aapke Dwar' programs, he said, "Let them do it. It is good for the people if leaders do such programs , even if it's someone else's copy."
