Deora said, "As PM Modi has announced that his government will provide more than three crore houses in its third term, the MP government will try to utilize this opportunity. Deora, who also holds the finance portfolio in CM Mohan Yadav's cabinet, stressed the need for cleanliness drives in urban areas in the state. “The MP government has proposed Rs 500 crore for the cleanliness drive, which is an initiative launched by PM Modi,” Deora said.

He further said that the urban population is increasing rapidly, which is expected to reach 50 percent (urban population) by 2047. Deora said that the state government needs to be prepared for the challenges of increasing population in urban areas.

The deputy minister told the House that the government has proposed Rs 900 crore for the construction of roads in the financial year 2024-25, which is 33 percent more than the previous financial year.
