New Delhi [India], Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday met Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi and held a meeting on various subjects related to agriculture and rural development.

"Today I had a meeting with Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his office. We discussed some topics and some decisions have also been taken. Kodokutki, a crop of our state, did not come under the Minimum Support Price (MSP), for which We have taken the matter before the Agriculture Minister,” CM Yadav told reporters after the meeting.

CM said, "Ragi is a crop equal to Kodokutki, so I suggested giving MSP equal to it. I thank Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for agreeing to this. Regarding the cultivation of pulses and oil palm, he Have also given suggestions."

On the other hand, Union Minister Chauhan said that MP CM Yadav had brought some issues of Madhya Pradesh, after which he met him and also held a meeting with the officials to discuss the issues.

"Today Chief Minister Mohan Yadav came with some issues of Madhya Pradesh, I called all the officials and immediately discussed. Kodokutki is grown as a coarse grain in Madhya Pradesh, especially in the tribal areas, so till now Kodokutki has not been procured. Is." Now we have decided to buy Kodokutki at Rs 4290 which is the MSP of Ragi so that we can promote millet and tribals can get a fair price to buy moong,” said Chauhan.

Apart from this, CM Yadav has also put some other important issues before the department and we all are committed to the development of Madhya Pradesh and the country. The Union Minister said, the issues raised by the Chief Minister have been taken seriously, we have taken immediate decisions on many issues and there are many which we will consider as per the policy.
