In the last two years, Madhya Pradesh Police has killed more than 20 Maoists carrying rewards worth more than Rs. 3.5 crores, including the last one on July 8.

The Chief Minister said that the police should act as per law without any bias and assured that his government will get full support to ensure better law and order.

“Take strict action against those involved in worsening the law and order situation in the state,” he said. The government will support police action,'' the chief minister said while addressing a gathering of police personnel and their family members after a mega tree plantation drive in Bhopal.

“It is heartening that a large number of families of police personnel have joined the tree plantation drive. This is their commitment and responsibility towards the environment,” the Chief Minister said.
