The price hike in Delhi-NCR and other markets is effective from Monday.

"The price increase of Rs 2 per liter is applicable on all types of milk," Mother Dairy said.

The price of token milk has increased from Rs 52 per liter to Rs 54 per liter.

The price of toned milk has increased from Rs 54 per liter to Rs 56 per liter.

The rate of cow milk has increased from Rs 56 per liter to Rs 58 per liter.

The price of buffalo milk has increased from Rs 70 per liter to Rs 72 per liter.

The rate of double toned milk has increased from Rs 48 per liter to Rs 50 per liter.

The company further said that despite the high prices of milk procurement over the past few months, prices for customers have been kept stable. The heat has also affected milk production. In such a situation, keeping the interest of milk producers and customers on priority, the company has decided to increase the price by 3 to 4 percent.

Earlier on Monday, Amul had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter.
