According to Delhi Fire Service (DFS) chief Atul Garg, the fire was reported at 10:46 am in a slum near Hanuman Temple in Chilla Khadar, opposite Star City Mall.
"A total of seven fire units were dispatched to the spot and the fire was brought under control by 11:20 am," Garg said.
"The fire broke out in 11 to 12 huts. No casualties have been reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be known," Garg said.
“The cooling process is going on,” Garg said.
