Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Actress Mona Singh, who is currently promoting her upcoming horror-comedy film 'Munjya', shared a scary incident that she faced in Pune when she was returning home. .
Speaking to ANI, the actress shared the incident from her time in Pune.
“One night, while returning home on my scooter, I crossed the Bund Garden Bridge, a famous place in Pune. At the beginning of the bridge, a girl asked for a lift. Due to my reluctance to give lift to a stranger at night, I proceeded It increased.To my surprise, the same person reappeared at the other end of the bridge and was asking for a lift. It was a shuddering experience.”
The actress further spoke about her belief in black magic.
“I believe in the existence of negative and positive energies. There are people who practice black magic, which is evidenced by the sight of lemons, chillies and dolls on the streets.It is best not to engage in these practices to avoid unnecessary risks.”
Mona also talked about her role in 'Munjya', where she plays the character of Pammi.
"I play the character of Pammi in the film. Abhay plays the character of my son Bittu and I am his mother, who is very strict and authoritarian towards him. Our journey together has been full of ups and downs.There is a lot of drama and chaos in it. My character in the film is very funny, a bit loud and aggressive, and it is hardcore comedy, something I have never done before."
Starring Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma and Satyaraj, the film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar revolves around 'Munjya', a root myth from the world of Indian belief and cultural system.
Recently the makers had released the teaser.
In the teaser, Munjya, a CGL character, is introduced to the audience in a remote forest. Munjya gets into action after listening to the popular song 'Munni Badnaam Hui' from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's 2010 blockbuster film Dabangg.Munjya's screenplay has been developed by Yogesh Chandekar and Niren Bhatt, while Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya composed the music for the film.
This film is going to be released on June 7.
