While Rizwan has never captained Pakistan at international level, he has led Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). On the other hand, Babar currently leads the Pakistan national team and Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL.
The Knights squad includes four Pakistani cricketers: Rizwan, Babar Azam, veteran fast bowler Mohammad Amir and middle-order batsman Asif Ali. The team has also been strengthened by international players like Dwayne Pretorius, Sandeep Lamichhane, Deependra Singh Airey, Paul van Meekeren and Ruben Trumpelman.
The league's fourth season is scheduled from July 25 to August 11 in downtown Brampton.
