Kannur (Kerala): A 38-year-old woman, who was reported missing, was found dead in a house near Payyannur here, police said on Sunday.
Anila, a resident of Mathamangalam, who was missing since Saturday evening, was found dead in the house whose owner was away on a family trip.
Meanwhile, the police found Shiju, the house caretaker, hanging at her mother's house, about 22 km away.
Police are considering it a case of murder-suicide.
The owner had entrusted Shiju with the responsibility of taking care of the house and his dog during the trip.
"But when Shiju was not available on phone, a relative of the owner went to the house and found the woman dead and informed us," police said.
Police have received CCTV visuals of the woman reaching the area.
They are yet to ascertain the reason behind the deaths.
