Thane: A hospital on Mira Road in Thane district received an email containing a bomb threat on Monday, however, it was declared a hoax after the police conducted a thorough search of the premises. An officer gave this information.

He said the search was carried out by various units of the Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police, including bomb detection and disposal as well as dog squads.
