New Delhi, Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh on Wednesday held a high-level review meeting with Railway Board members and asked them to provide facilities to all sections, especially the poor.

An official statement said that during the meeting, the board members presented an overview of the railways and apprised the minister about various ongoing activities.

"Ravneet Singh urged officials to work collectively as a team to realize the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and transform Indian Railways into one of the best railways in the world," it said.

"He also emphasized that railways are a convenient mode of transportation for the common people. Indian Railways should make all efforts for the convenience of all sections, especially the poor," the statement said.
