Speaking to the media, Nadendla Manohar said, "Even amidst so much distress, we were able to release Rs 1,000 crore out of Rs 1,600 crore, which is due to the farmers as their immediate need. She further alleged that the previous YSRCP government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had taken loans worth Rs 36.3 crore from the Civil Supplies department.

She went on to say that the new Andhra Pradesh government is focused on providing benefits to farmers and consumers.

"Since our new government came to Andhra Pradesh, we have focused a lot on what we can do to benefit both farmers and consumers. In the civil supplies department, we have looked at how procurement of rice can be done from farmers more effectively. by using technology and how we can reduce the payment gap for farmers Unfortunately, the previous YSRCP government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy took loans worth Rs 36.3 billion from the department. farmers in the lurch and left them behind.
