New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a brisk and pleasant morning on Monday and the air quality was recorded in the 'satisfactory' category.

Weather officials said the minimum temperature in the city was 25.6 degrees Celsius, which is 2.3 degrees below the season's average.

The air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 56.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', between 51 and 100 'satisfactory', between 101 and 200 'moderate', between 201 and 300 'poor', between 301 and 400 'very poor' and 401 and between 500 is considered 'severe'.

The relative humidity at 8.30 am was 83 percent. The weather office has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain during the day.

It said that the maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius.
