Los Angeles, Actor-comic Mindy Kaling says she quietly welcomed her third child in February.
The writer behind popular shows like "The Mindy Project" and "Never Have I Ever" made the announcement on Monday, her 45th birthday.
In an Instagram post, Kaling said she gave birth to a baby girl, named Anne, earlier this year.
"At the end of February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. She is the best birthday present I could have ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I lean toward skepticism, my three children are my pure happiness. A great reminder of what life is.
"I'm so lucky that I live in a place where I can do this on my own, on my own timeline. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!" she wrote in a series of photos with her children and showing off her baby bump.
Kalinga has two other children: a six-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. She has never revealed the identity of the father of her children.
