Ganderbal (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], People's Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti expressed happiness over the Supreme Court granting interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Excise Police case on Friday. Taking aim at the Center regarding the arrest of the opposition leader, Mufti said that blind rule continues in the country. Mehbooba Mufti told reporters in Ganderbal, "I am happy that Arvind Kejriwal got interim bail. These days there is blind governance going on in the country. Anyone can be put in jail and it takes so much time to get bail, This is very bad." In a major relief to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Supreme Court on Friday granted him interim bail till June 1 in a money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi Excise policy, with the condition that he returns to office. Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in connection with the alleged money laundering investigation. Irregularities in Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 now cancelled.
