According to the latest data from the Election Commission of India, VPP candidate Ricky Andrew J. is leading on the Shillong Lok Sabha seat. Singcon has so far secured 4,38,286 votes and is leading by 2,86,123 votes.

Tura Lok Sabha seat, a family bastion of the ruling NPP, has shown surprising figures. Party candidate and sitting MP Agatha Sangma is trailing by 1,43,382 votes. Congress candidate Saleng A Sangma is leading and has got 3,47,863 votes.

Agatha Sangma is the sister of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.

Sitting MP and Congress candidate Vincent Pala has got 1,52,163 votes from Shillong seat. NPP candidate and Meghalaya Health Minister Amparain Lyngdoh has got 1,43,284 votes and is currently at the third position.

The BJP has not fielded any candidate in Meghalaya and has supported its ally NPP in both the Lok Sabha seats in the state.
