Shillong, Meghalaya government is set to integrate QR codes in school textbooks, allowing students to access additional information using smartphones, a senior official said on Wednesday.

According to Education Secretary A Marak, the initiative aims to enhance the time management skills of students and empower them with complementary knowledge options.

Marak said, “We are adding quick response (QR) codes in school textbooks, which will contain additional information on a particular subject. The aim is to help students manage their time well and acquire further knowledge as per their choice. To strengthen the ability to do.”
