Meenakshi, who started her film career with 'Painter Babu' in 1983, has taken training in four Indian classical dances.
'Bharatanatyam', 'Kuchipudi', 'Kathak', an 'Odissi'.

The actress, who was seen on the stage of children's singing reality show 'Superstar Singer 3' in the 'Meenakshi Sheshadri Special' episode, took a trip down memory lane and shared an anecdote about her career.

In this episode, nine year old Nishant Gupta from Gurugram, Haryana gave a mesmerizing performance along with Captain Mohammed Danish who gave a beautiful rendition of the soulful Rajasthani folk song 'Bawre' from the film 'Luck By Chance'.

Talking about the performance, Meenakshi said: "Oh my God, it was absolute gratification for everyone! The excitement was palpable, and when both Nishant and Danish were performing, we all stood there and danced to the beat I was really great."

The 60-year-old actress, who has sung poetic notes in JP Dutta's 'Kshatriya', reflected on her journey and said, "Today, standing on this stage, looking at these little children, I remember my humble beginnings. When I started my career." The journey in music and dance performance at the age of three and where I am today, may your future be as bright as the stars, full of success and happiness.

Meenakshi then requested for a duet combination of folk singing and folk dance and joined Nishant on stage to perform.

Surprised by Meenakshi's performance, super judge Neha Kakkar shared: "It's truly unreal to see you perform live; it filled my heart with so much joy. Your performance was worth watching, so graceful and beautiful. Thank you for our appreciation. Thank you for coming on stage with your charming presence."
