The Assembly on Friday allowed Kirori Lal Meena to remain absent from the House during the entire budget session.

As soon as the Question Hour ended on Friday, the Speaker conducted voting on the permission for Kirori Lal Meena to remain absent from the House for the entire session, which was approved by voice vote.

It is noteworthy that if an MLA does not come to the House during the session, he has to inform the Speaker in writing.

After this, the Speaker conducts voting in the House and asks for opinion and then the MLA is exempted from the meetings of the House.

It is important to mention here that Kirori Lal Meena has tendered his resignation and in this regard he has also met BJP National President JP Nadda. However, the decision on his resignation is still pending.
