Hyderabad: Medtronic, a global medical technology firm, said it will invest USD 60 million over three to five years on its new Global IT (GIT) center at the Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Center (MEIC) here, which was inaugurated on Wednesday. Happened. ,

The MEIC was inaugurated in the presence of Telangana IT, Industry and Commerce Minister D Sridhar Babu and US Consul General Jennifer Larsen along with senior leaders from Medtronic, including Rashmi Kumar, SVP and CIO Global, among others.

The global IT center is Medtronic's first large-scale IT center outside the U.S. It will invest $60 million that will help create 300 new jobs over the next three to five years, the company said.

It further added that GIT will focus on cloud engineering, data platforms, digital health applications, hyper automation and cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
