Una (Himachal Pradesh): Goods worth Rs 1 crore were burnt to ashes in a massive fire in a factory here. Police gave this information on Monday.

Ten workers present in the factory when the fire broke out somehow managed to get out of the building, he said, adding that no one was reported injured.

According to the police, a fire broke out in the Anish Plastic and Iron factory in the industrial area of ​​Mehatpur in Una district on Sunday night.

Officials said that after receiving information from factory owner Anish, 12 FIR tenders were sent to the spot. However, by the time the fire was brought under control, goods worth Rs 1 crore were reduced to ashes.

It was told that the fire was so severe that the building storing the goods collapsed.

Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that orders have been given to the department to assess the cause of the fire and the damage caused.

La said, a case has been registered and efforts are being made to find out the cause of the fire.
