According to an order issued by the Drug Licensing Authority, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the manufacturing licenses of 10 Divya Pharmacy products of Patanjali have been suspended.
The order was issued earlier this month taking cognizance of complaints of misleading advertisements of these products by the firm in violation of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
The authority said in its order that the company did not provide the information sought from it regarding the product and the explanation given in its defense was not satisfactory.
According to the order, the products of Divya Pharmacy whose manufacturing license has been suspended include Swasari Gold, Swasari Vati, Bronkom, Swasari Pravahi, Swasari Avaleha, Mukt Vati Extra Power, Lipidom, BP Grit, Madhugrit and Madhunashini Vati Extra Power. ,
