The redevelopment of the country's power corridor, Central Vista, envisages a new Parliament House, a common Central Secretariat, renovation of the three-kilometre long Rajpath from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate, a new office and residence of the Prime Minister, and A new vice-presidential enclave.

Inducted into the Union Cabinet on Sunday, veteran BJP leader Khattar is now all set to start his new innings as an MP and Union minister.

Khattar joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a permanent member in 1977 and remained with it for 17 years before becoming a member of the BJP in 1994.
