Mandhana scored 117 in the series opener, scoring her sixth ODI century, before debutant Asha Shobhana took four wickets as India won the match by 143 runs.

England all-rounder Natalie Sciver-Brunt reclaimed the top spot after scoring an unbeaten 124 against Pakistan last month, while Sri Lanka's experienced Chamari Athapaththu dropped one place to second.

In the women's ODI batting rankings, Indian pair Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar gained three places each to reach 20th and 38th positions respectively. After the opening match of the series against West Indies, all eyes are on Sri Lankan pair Neelakshika Silva (up three places to 42nd) and Harshitha Samarawickrama (up four places to 47th).

Deepti has also progressed in the ODI bowlers' rankings, gaining one place to fourth after losing 2-10 in the series opener against South Africa. England spinner Sophie Ecclestone is maintaining a good lead at the top of the rankings.

In the all-rounders' list, Pooja Vastrakar moved up four places to 18th while South Africa's experienced Marizanne Kapp remains the No. 1 ODI all-rounder in the world.
